Download Cloud photos using phone 2025

My Creative Cloud Mobile App recently stopped working. It doesn't sync anymore so all photos I uploaded/saved in cloud through Photoshop desktop app can no longer be accessed or downloaded using my phone. When I contacted Adobe support, that was when I learned the CC mobile app has been discontinued and the only way to download photos from CC using a phone is through the web. I hope Adobe understands how inconvenient and unprofessional, not Adobe-like that is. CC Mobile App allows users to view and download cload photos easily in one app... now that it's discontinued, we have to open a BROWSER, login, view then download?

If CC Mobile app will no longer brought back and if there's no plan to launch a replacement app, why not improve Adobe Express? There seems to be a focus on marketing Adobe Express anyways (at least that's how it felt during my conversation with Adobe support) so adding helpful features would make it a realiable one-stop app. It would be great if users are given the ability to download cloud files on our device too. Currently, though I can see my Photoshop files synced in Adobe Express mobile app, it only allows me to Move, Copy To, Delete, Create New Express file and Duplicate... no download. It would also be nice if we're able to expand/enlarge photos (zoom closer on them) and easily slide left or right to see other photos. Small addition of common features but impactful to user experience.

@Lowk3y I hear your frustration and can understand why this change feels so disruptive. It's truly a difficult situation when a tool you rely on is suddenly no longer available. Adobe did announce the phased discontinuation of the Creative Cloud mobile app and the Synced files service, with notices starting in early 2024. The final date for the app's functionality was January 31, 2025. It's easy to miss these kinds of announcements, especially when you're busy with your creative work and not constantly monitoring every update. https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/creative-cloud/kb/eol-creative-cloud-synced-files.html

Thanks for sharing 🙂 However, my frustration wasn't actually about not knowing earlier but more about the discontinuance of a useful tool itself. As I've mentioned, we users/subscribers are left without any mobile app that would allow us, not only to browse through our photos in Cloud, but also download them in one app. I wasn't expecting Adobe to leave us with such an inefficient process, back to using a browser. 😞 Hopefully, Adobe comes back to its senses and come up with a solution.
