Download old Photoshop version 2024

My imac is a powerful imac intel i7 - unable to install the latest photoshop because of compatibility.
please provide a link to a working download link version for intel i7? photoshop 2024? I cant find any sort of access to older versions

The reason you can’t find Photoshop 2024 is because of the support policy that Adobe introduced several years ago, linked below. Their policy is that they will provide only the last two major versions of Creative Cloud software. For Photoshop, the last two major versions are Photoshop 2025 and 2026, so those are the only versions available for installation in the Creative Cloud desktop application.

Apparently, sometimes people are able to get a link to an older version by talking to Adobe support directly (that is, not through this forum, which is mostly just us users who don’t work for Adobe).

The only other way would be to get Adobe to change the policy. But that might take a while.

Your Intel Core i7 iMac was relatively powerful at the time it was released, but that was over half a decade ago because Apple hasn't used the i7 since they switched to Apple Silicon processors in 2020. One reason they switched to Apple Silicon is because every Apple Silicon M processor ever made, even the oldest M1, can outperform any i7 that was used in a Mac.

This leads to the other issue: It isn’t just Adobe. Apple has been ending macOS support for all Intel Macs too. If your iMac is a 27” from 2020, it will not be upgradeable past macOS 26. And if it is from an earlier year, Apple already stopped supporting it.

Adobe also offers one version back of Photoshop and that would be Photoshop 2025, so that’s why i asked what model and year your iMac is?
