Question

Droplet file error

I cannot create a droplet file on the desktop. Instead, Photoshop creates a white empty file. I tried this on the 2021 and 2023 versions, but both gave the same result.

What could be the cause of the problem?

I added a screenshot of the files.

Hey, @Selim Rumi. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll need more specific info about this, and I'll help you figure this out. Please share the system info from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy & paste into a text document > upload & attach here.

I've moved the post to Discussions for now. Before troubleshooting, update Photoshop to the latest version via the Creative Cloud desktop app & check if the issue exists.

Looking at the screenshot, the droplet needs to be named correctly, as the file extension is placed between the names of the files. You can rename the droplet by moving (.exe) to the file name's end or removing the text after (.exe), like zzz.exe.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!
