DXO Raw v5.5 not working as Plugin in Photoshop

On my Windows 11 PC I have installed to the C drive DXO Raw 5.5. In Creative Cloud it is shown as installed but the 3 dots are greyed out. In Photoshop 27.1 at Plugins it is shown as present but is greyed out. Anyone who has experienced this with DXO Raw could you please advise how to fix this issue. The DXO Raw works fine as standalone programme.

Hi there! Thank you for reaching out! Are you trying to run the plugin on a JPEG or a standard background layer? Are you opening your RAW images as Smart Objects in Photoshop? Try this: 

 

1) Open a RAW file in Photoshop. When the Camera Raw window appears, select the "Open" button dropdown and choose "Open as Object." This creates a Smart Object layer.

2) Select this Smart Object layer in the Layers panel.

3) Go to Filter > DxO Labs > DxO PureRAW 5 and try to use the plugin.

Hello @Noel Orridge 

Thanks for your response. I have followed your instructions but have had no success accessing DXO RAW on a .CR3 image. There is no DXORAW in Filter drop down [see screenshot] The DXO RAW is greyed out in  Plugins [see screenshot] . In Creative Cloud DXO RAW 3 dots greyed out [see screenshot]. Do you have any other thoughts on how I can solve this issue. I am in touch with DXO RAW support. They sent me a diagnostic to run. I returned the resultant files but they did not come up with any answer.
