DYING HERE. Photoshop on the web isn't saving my file and won't download

I'm running Photoshop on Firefox, and the image I've been working on since last night will not download. When I try, through the button or the menu, "Saving Document" just spins. In a previous attempt it'd gotten to 66% then never moved. I've tried logging in through Chrome but the file doesn't even show up there. I've been saving right along so I don't know why some version at least wouldn't show up there.

Running macOS Monterey 12.7.6. My wifi isn't great here but I've tried changing between network and my phone's hotspot which both have worked ok in the past. Please help! If I have to piece this thing together with screenshots I will absolutely cry and so will the animal rescue I'm building this image for.

For anyone else who runs into this problem... just go with GIMP. I lost days of work and money with PS, wish I'd know about that alternative earlier.

What file format did you select to Download/Quick export as?

With macOS Monterey 12.7.6 you should able to install Photoshop 2024 (ps version 25.4.12), which is only available if you first install the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop Application from here:

https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/apps/download-install-apps/creative-cloud-apps/download-creative-cloud-desktop-app-using-direct-links.html

We have Photoshop 2024 (ps version 25.4.12) running here on macOS Monterey 12.7.6 with a 2013 Mac Pro

Thank you! I did have the Creative Cloud app running, I think I was getting an 'Update Required' message when it stopped. I've trashed the version I had and am downloading the newest ACC, maybe it'll work. Won't help with this project stuck in the web version though. 😞

I have no idea what version it is, this is my first time using a CS product online.

I wasn't able to download Photoshop to my computer, and I gave up trying to work in Canva, so this was my last resort.

How would an older operating system affect an online program?

Thanks!

Hey @6099762_7709,

I've moved your post from 'bugs' to 'discussions' until we receive more information. To better understand what is going on, could you please share your system information? You can find it by going to Help > System Info, then copying and pasting it into a text file to attach to your response. This will enable us to investigate it further.

Older versions of PS were not designed to work with Montery- was version of PS are you running?
