Hi. I want to move Photoshop Installation from disk C to D but the 3 dots in the upper right corner are not available in Windows Applications Panel . That is to say that Photoshop may not be installed on another disk than C ?

Hello!

I hope you are doing well, and we apologise for the delayed response.

As you posed the question on the Acrobat Community, To install Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on a specific drive or directory, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Creative Cloud Desktop Application:

    • Launch the Creative Cloud app on your computer.

  2. Access Preferences:

    • Click on the account icon in the upper right corner and select Preferences.

  3. Change Install Location:

    • Navigate to the Apps tab.

    • Click the edit icon next to Install Location. For detailed information, see this article: https://adobe.ly/43zkTcX

    • Choose your desired installation directory on the preferred drive.

    • Click Done to save the changes.

  4. Install Acrobat Pro DC:

    • Proceed to install Acrobat Pro DC; it will now be installed in the location specified.

Note: Some components may still be installed on the system drive, such as files in the C:\ProgramData and C:\Users\ directories.

Additional Considerations:

  • System Drive Usage: Regardless of the chosen installation directory, some files will be installed on the system drive due to system requirements.

  • Permissions: Ensure you have administrative privileges to change installation directories.

  • Disk Space: Verify that the selected drive has sufficient space for installation.

I will move this post to the Photoshop community for expert input.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.
