Question

Editing only working on "home computer"

I can only edit a project properly on my laptop, but if I switch to another computer, even if signed in, I can see my project, open it and add new things to it, but cannot access my previous layers to edit the original. What am I missing?

Example: working on a logo, can edit it... switches to other computer and cant edit the text, or anything. It wont work.

Any hints on troubleshooting or is this a bug?

@kristiel50600759 How are you using your files? Linking images or emedding the images. Is your laptop the same OS system as the other computer. For example, I work on a MAC but my work is a PC, so I will have font issues because of varying font families on two different devices.

After reading you mesage a second time, it usually means your project file is missing or has lost its connection to assets like fonts, linked images, or embedded objects that allow those layers to remain editable. It's not a bug, but rather a common issue stemming from how design software references external components and how you're moving the file between machines. When you move the project, if these external dependencies aren't also moved together or re-established, the software flattens or rasterizes those layers to prevent errors, making them uneditable as original components (e.g., text becomes pixels, not editable characters).

I would transfer all associated font files and linked images along with your main project file, placing them in identical folder structures on both computers.
