End Users — Apple iPad iOS tablet and Adobe Software

Hello fellow iPad end users, Greetings for the holiday season!

My issue is, I currently have a paid annual subscription for Photoshop version 7, but had my subscribed Adobe Photoshop drop my paid subscription mid-stream and limited my access/use of the software application in spite of my fully paid status.

Subscription was fully paid on Qctober 25, 2025 to October 25, 2026 and Photoshop dropped my subscriber use to limited 'free-copy' use on October 30, 2025.

This is the second time the anomaly manifested itself on Photoshop. The first was when photoshop updated to version 6.1.1 and the second was when Photoshop updated from 6.2.2 to 7; Prior to version 6.1.1. Photoshop would crash when being initialized, fortunately, the problem was resolved with photoshop version 6.1.1.

i had to cancel my first subscription and resubscribed on October 25, 2025. I may have to cancel my subscription once again, a second time and rescbscribe to resolve the annoying issue as Apple and Adobe support have no solution.

Apple support informs me that is an Adobe software developer issue and Adobe support informs me that it is an Apple issue.

Are there ipad users in a similar predicament?

I have other Adobe software that I'm testing,  I plan to add to my iPad iOS tool kid but am now, skeptical due to my reoccurring issue with Adobe Photoshop.

I am open to all opinions and or assistance to my problem.

Thank you

Ann

Hi @ann_1924,

Thank you for sharing all these details. I checked on our end, and the email ID associated with your community account does not show any active Photoshop subscription in our system.

To help verify this and locate your subscription correctly, please send me a direct message (DM) with the following details:
 • The email address used to purchase your Photoshop subscription through the App Store.
 • If you used Hide My Email when subscribing, please share that address (it will look something like xyz@privaterelay.appleid.com).

You can find your Apple-generated email by following these steps:
https://adobe.ly/4p9Wp1u

Once you have it, click on my profile and then the “Message” button to send me a DM with that information.

Best regards,

Anshul Saini

@ann_1924 At one time, Adobe and Apple were collaborators but also partners in revolutionizing the computer industry. I have Photoshop as well other Adobe applications on my iPad and I have no issues with it. I do have two Adobe subscriptions, one for work, and one personal use, but I made sure I use two separate emails to differentiate the two. Neither have either email address as a back-up as this would confuse the heck out of it too.

Hi @creative explorer thank you for your response. What is your iPad iOS version, I have iOS 17.7.10? I've only started using Photoshop on my iPad recently, August 2025, and only subscribed to Adobe app, Photoshop. on my iPad. This is the second time that the photoshop app dropped my subscription and limited my use to that of a free-copy. Since Adobe will not assist, as my purchase is not recorded on Adobe's data log and Apple tells me it's the developer's (Adobe) problem I'm left with no alternative but to cancel my subscription and obtain a refund. No one knows why this anomaly seems to be haunting my system. It would help if Adobe, the software developer would synchronize with Apple App Store, customer issues might be resolved. I have no idea how to resolve my issue, unless Adobe would investigate the anomaly, being the primary developer.

@ann_1924 I do believe I have the same systems as you; just as I click on Photoshop, my battery died, I had less than 1%. I will check later today, to see if Photoshop is launching on my iPad
