Enhance

I'm having problems with enhance.  When I am using it, it works great. When I turn my computer on again,  enhance takes about an hour to get it running again.  Meanwhile, I can only wait while the first window showing the status churning, churning, churning for about an hour.  Then it pops right up and does the image without churning.  It happens every time I turn off my computer.  Can someone please tell me how to start Photoshop without the need for enhance churning, churning, churning?

But that has no way to initiate all by itself...?

@D Fosse it maybe the Enhance feature in ACR that the OP is referring too, then again, reading the post again maybe it's not that 😃

I can't make any sense of this. Enhance what, exactly? Can you post a screenshot of this enhance function?

Here it is. The first time it was when Enhance in Photoshop is working
correctly. Then, I turned off and on again my computer so that Enhance has
a long delay in getting going again. I have also put a screenshot up you
can see the delay for ACR.

Hi!

What version of Photoshop are you using? What troubleshooting have you tried? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program? And until we can figure out why it's happening are you able to leave your computer on, and just put it to sleep so you don't have to wait an hour to use it?

I am using Photoshop version 25.6.0. Yes, I have tried uninstalling and
reinstalling Photoshop and it is still doing the same thing. Yes, I can
leave the computer sleeping, but sometimes I have to turn it off again, and
Photoshop still has to go through that long and annoying process of taking
an hour or so before it completes the first enhance. So, I finally decided
to put it up for the community to talk about.
