Enhanced raw file not opening in Photoshop

Hi. If I take a raw file from bridge into camera raw and then apply a super resolution in the detail panel, and then click open (in photoshop) Photoshop opens but nothing happens...the image does not open. Photoshop just hangs. Anybody find this? Solutions? Thanks in advance.

Unenhanced raw files open fine.

Update: after searching this forum again, I found a solution that works: Apply super resolution then click 'done'. Then in Bridge right click and select "open in PS". The file then opens in camera raw and can then be opened in PS. Bug?
