Error reading layers on cloud document

I have a large file in the cloud, it will no longer open and I get multiple 'error reading layer messages'

I read a solution to use [link removed] but this only works with local files. Can anyone help? how do i open my file again?

Same problem, solved.

Did you use any external hard drive to support extra scratch disk space when you create the file?

I didn't have enough scratch disk spacewhile creating the file, so I plugged in a portable hard drive. When I unplugged and tried opening the file from cloud, it showed the same message. After plugging in again, it successfully opened.

if your hard drive is full it will give you this error try to clean up some space and reopen

good luck 🙂

Solved it too. In my case my Mac had little space left, so I deleted a couple of large files and (just in case) ran some scans on CleanMyMac and turned off the computer.

Can you download your file and see if it opens?

How large is the file (size in GB/MB)?
