Errors with Generative Expand on one of two Windows PCs

I get different types of errors with Generative Expand on one Windows PC (but not on another - same Nvidia drivers on both PCs) with PS 25.1.

On the failing PC, I either get "program error" (for a loaded 5400x3600 jpg image, crop expanded at bottom + right). Or, if I load a a tiny 600x400 jpg version of the same image, I observe a meaningless upscaling of the image on my monitor and I get a filling of the top left corner instead of the bottom right expanded canvas region.

On the failing PC, however, expanding some images loaded into PS from LR works, so it is not a general failure but it occurs for two jpg versions of one image loaded directly into PS (not via LR).

Behavior did not change with the update from PS 25.0 to 25.1.
