“Export As” Not Responding in Photoshop

Hello,

I'm experiencing a critical issue with Photoshop where the "Export As" feature does not respond at all.

Here are the key details:

  • 2025 Photoshop Version:  27.0

  • Operating System: Windows 11 (64-bit)

  • Issue Summary: The "Export As" function doesn’t respond. "Save for Web (Legacy)" works, but "Export As" does not.

Troubleshooting Steps Tried:

  • Reinstalled Photoshop

  • Installed older versions of Photoshop (the issue persisted)

  • Reset preferences

None of these steps have resolved the issue. Could you please advise how to fix this?

Thank you,
Lina

I’m not exactly sure which step helped, but most likely it was updating the parameters.
– The parameters were deleted, and after deletion, they were automatically recreated in the folders, which restored the bugged settings.
– The graphics card drivers were also updated.

Yes, all issues occurred following the Photoshop update.

Hi, thanks for reaching out!

Please go to the Help menu in Photoshop, then System Info, and copy the text. You can share the info with us by either pasting it as a reply here or in a text file and sharing the file with us.

Did you start experiencing this behavior after updating Photoshop?

Thanks,
Nikunj

For now, I’m using the older version of the export function so I can continue working:
Edit > Preferences > Export > Use Legacy “Export As”
