Export from raw without redundant files?

Is it possible to export from raw, with denoise added, without the redundant file? I don't really need the non denoised file. It just complicates my file management.

Actually, there's a new "technology preview" in ACR. Check this, and you can Denoise without having to create a separate DNG. It will come to Lightroom when ready.

As already explained, the short answer is NO!

As fas as I understand your question right you're denoising a image in Camera Raw.

In this case a separate linear .DNG file will be create.

The original file without denoiing must be delete manually.

But, I would keep the original though, as denoising is destructive and cannot be undone.

Delete manually, is what I'm trying to avoid. And. I have the original raw files safe and sound somewhere, so it just makes more work for people this way.

There's no other possibility at the moment.

It seems that there's a solution in the future as @D Fosse wrote.
