Exporting brushes (ABR) from Photoshop 26 to 27 loses pressure sensitivity settings

What I thought it could be a simple operation became a nightmare!

I just need to export 2 — just 2 — simple brushes who contain pen pressure settings from Photoshop 26.11.1 to 27 and it is not working.

The ABR export/import is doing fine, but all the pen pressure setting simply disappear when loaded in the latest version of Photoshop.

What am I doing wrong?

I am forced to stay in 26.11.1 forever, I think...

Windows 10

UPDATE:

Solved my problem with this tutorial.

Afteexporting the ABR brushes from Photoshop 2025 and importing it into 2026, I noticed Photoshop was saying my tablet was not pressure compatible. But, how? In 2025 everyting was fine... So I discovered I already had this problem in the past!  And solved, back then, using this very same tutorial.

For the owners of a Wacom CTL-67X, copy the file — PSUserConfig.txt — to your Windows10 — C:\Users\*******\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2026\Adobe Photoshop 2026 Settings

You brushes will have pressure sensitivity again!

I tested your brushes, and pen pressure is working on my system (Windows 11). I did have to update the profile on my tablet (Xencelabs) to work with that specific version of Photoshop before the presence of the pen was recognized, so you might have success if you check that.

Thank you Allan!

I have a project ongoing to be delivered before holidays so I can't keep investigating the issue right now.

But having this feedback from you shows the problem could be in my system, perhaps in my tablet (Wacom, a simple one).

As soon as I get freetime I will try again.

Regards!
