ExtendScript bug text on a path when update contents

Question

Photoshop ExtendScript bug using latest and recent versions all platforms:

For textItem that uses text on a path, when the content is updated the text position shifts. The easiest way to show the problem is with a simple PSD and a simple JSX to run on it. The PSD has a duplicate layer of the original text on a path. After running the script it is easy to see how the position has shifted.

Hi! I work a lot with text and I was interested in your post. Unfortunately, the code you linked to has been removed. Have you solved the problem? I tried to repeat your actions as described and could not reproduce the problem.
