Extracting the sun from the image

Is there a good and neat way to extract the sun and its rays from the sky in this image?

Its for a front cover, i cropped the image so the sky and its rays cover the whole cover.

As you can see the blu behind the rays, i want to replace the blue with some images like a building, a manuscript etc.

Select area, > [Edit] > [Generative Fill]
