Eye drop tool not working

Question

Please help me. The eye drop tool on my computer with the latest version 26.11 does not work. For example, when I select a rectangle and click on the gray color in the background, the rectangle does not change color. It happens with all objects from text to squares, circles, etc. I can only change the color of an object using the blend tool, and I have to copy the color code, but the eye drop on the blend tool does not work either.
