Facing problem with colour selection

Hello

 

I'm having trouble using the 'Colour Range' tool to select the colours I need. No matter what I do, I can't seem to select any colours - even if they're solid. For example, when I tried to select the green area below, nothing showed up when I selected the white circular area (it was all black in the selection window).

Its really difficult because I need to create some banners for my IVF doctor client urgently. I've tried everything I can think of to fix the problem, but nothing seems to be working. Has anyone else experienced this issue before? If so, could you please share any solutions you found?

    If you want to use Color Range to select the green, use the eyedropper with the + (underneath the Save... button) to add to the selection.

     

    With such a simple shape, I'd probably use the Magic Wand tool instead. With one click, all the green would be selected. You could adjust the tolerence in the Options bar (Window > Options) to have it select either more (or fewer) pixels that make the anti-aliasing around the white circle.
