Feedback on Photoshop 2025

Hi,

I just want to give feedback that Photoshop 2025 is slow and bloated. To be honest, its now an application I dread having to open!

I am actively looking for alternatives because it has become so unusable. I am running a top-of-the-line SLS2, and it's still painfully slow.

With respect, you've always been such a top-notch company and I fear, if you continue down this trajectory, you'll lose relevance - and soon!

It is possible that your laptop has 2 graphics accelerators, one of which is not enabled all the time. When you launch Photoshop, it uses the currently active graphics card, which may not work efficiently.

Full system information would really help to understand the cause of your problem.

On my late 2018 i7 9700k with 6GB 1060 and 64GB of 3200MHz DDR4, it runs just great. I regularly edit large artwork files in the multiple GB range, and it's never had a problem. InDesign, on the other hand.... Grrr!

@Christian22397806avwr Can you be more specific. Please go to Photoshop's Help menu, choose System info and click 'Copy'. Then paste the info here.
In addition can you give an example of what is running slowly, you can use the timer in the Info panel to give example timings.
