Fix (temporary) for Select and Mask tool freezing.

The Select and Mask tool freezes intermittently at different stages of use.  This has started sometime before updating to Sonoma 14.4.1
Steps to reproduce bug
Image exported from LR Classic 13.2 to PS up to latest 25.7.0
Selection is made and mask generated.
Two possible events follow:
1) select and mask bar under image stays in place BUT other tools can be selected and used,

or 

2) select and mask bar under image stays in place BUT other tools CANNOT be selected or used

The only way to correct this I have found is to set the Photoshop>Settings>General>Reset Preferences upon quitting PS. close PS and then reboot the MacBook Pro (Sonoma 14.4.1)
