do I need to cancel a free trial of Photoshop, or will it automatically become a subscription??

Yes, You need to Cancel Subscription. If you don't want.

Hmm, looks as if it may have changed again. Or it may be randomly assigned. I've definitely tested this a little while back with different results. Probably worth saying IF you gave a credit card (and only if) then you need to cancel. Or some such, since Adobe don't keep us informed...

It seems to me that someone at Adobe needs to clarify this matter to us. The system could be open to a scam.

There was a discussion about this in the ACP forum. Adobe did make a change earlier this year that required a credit card to be entered for a trial.

This has changed, it surprised me. You are now typically invited to sign up for a subscription with the first 7 days free, and need to cancel if that's the case.

If you gave a credit card to start the trial (this is a new thing) you WILL need to cancel. Check the terms you accepted carefully, you may have signed up for a year if you don’t cancel!

    As far as I know trials are free and don't require credit card info. You have to choose a plan, and then enter payment details, to convert a trial to a paid membership. There is a Buy Now button to click.

    Are you  aware of a process which requires credit card info to get a Cloud trial? I only ask because you mention that it's a new thing. Just curious if things have changed.

    The trial version lasts for seven days then stops working. You can either leave it or delete the application or take out a subscription (it‘s not automatic). The Photographers plan costs around $10 a month and includes Lightroom. You can download them to two computers but not use them at the same time. Either Mac or PC versions or one of each.
