Frozen crosshair on image w/all brush tools

A small white crosshair-like item appears on my image that shows up only in all brush using tools. Location on image seems random and locked. Can't get rid of it. Photoshop24.

Thanks for responding. I can't get a screenshot. I managed to get rid of the "crosshair" after I shutdown Photoshop and restarted. Opening and closing the file did not do the trick. Maddening.
