Question

fullscreen to windowed one click mouse

I have an issue with Photoshop. Previously, when switching between screens, I would click once on the top panel of Photoshop to activate it. Now, something has changed—when I click once, it switches from fullscreen mode to windowed mode. Previously, I had to double-click quickly to change the mode, but now a single click is enough.

I thought it might be a new feature in Windows 11, but this behavior doesn't happen with other programs. I would like to disable this function as it is very inconvenient for me.

Hi @MrBrunoSantos!

Can you provide more details about this issue? What versions of Photoshop and Windows are you using? Does this happen every time you click or just occasionally?

Thanks a lot!

Alek

Sure.
My photoshop version is 26.2 (this happens too on beta versions, and all other versions lol i reinstall every version and this happens too) so... my windows version is Windows 11 Pro for Workstations 24H2 26100.2605

its happens all the time when the photoshop is maximized (no matter how version). I work with 2 monitors, so phoptoshop is maximized on the second monitor and when i use the first monitor and go back to photoshop its natural to click on the title bar (like i always did). So when i click, just one click, nothing more, the photoshop goes out from maximized screen and enter in windowed mode. But its happens in one monitor test too, if i stay with photoshop maximized, working on it, and click on the title bar its maximized off and restored the window.

I gonne attach a screen record.
(I hope you understood me, sorry for my bad english, im brazilian native)

@foonyresso "I would like to disable this function" that's not a feature in Photoshop, and I'm not seeing the issue with Photoshop version 26.1 on Windows 10
