Trying to use generative ai and I keep getting ‘This feature is currently unavailable’. I have logged out and back in. Updated to the latest Photoshop beta. Checked the status and no issues. Not sure what to do next?

Hi @Landshark67, a few things to try. The latest Photoshop (beta) is the March 2026 release, Version 27.6. Are you on Windows 11? Try resetting preferences. Make sure your GPU is updated to the latest studio driver. Try launching the app from Creative Cloud Desktop, not from a shortcut. Let us know if you still have problems. Sometimes a complete system reboot can clear things out, too.

I am using photoshop 27.6 on a mac. I just tried opening it from creative cloud instead of my desktop shortcut, and it works perfectly. Strange. Thanks you so much for the help!

Super, glad I could help. It does seem strange, but I’ve trained myself to always open Adobe apps through Creative Cloud for this very reason. I appreciate you coming back on to let us know!
