Generative AI resolution with Photoshop 2024?

Now that PS 2024 is out, are we still limited with the 1024 resolution of the generative AI generated content? The news article speaks of "high-resolution" images and credits. Are they somehow limited? Can I purchase higher resolutions? First tests show resolution is still low and I haven't used it before. Where can I see my credits with the normal Photoshop/Photography subscription? It's a bit confusing honestly.

Shudders:

"Over time, if a piece of content undergoes different stages of editing or processing, it can also accumulate multiple Content Credentials. "

It's like photoshop:DocumentAncestors all over again!

The high resolution size limit is 2000x2000 you can go larger but the quality suffers.

It's possible (or not). This is only known by Adobe. Adobe doesn't announce any informations about features in the future. We have to wait and see what happens. Only one thing is certain: a higher resolution probably also costs more credits.

On a tangent, I found something really interesting in the 25.0 release notes:

"Photoshop will automatically append Content Credentials to images generated using Generative Fill and Generative Expand (...)

This will let you know if an image was created or edited in Photoshop using Firefly's Generative AI technology."

So if you think you can get away with, you can't 😉
