Generative expand crop tool issue width and height dimensions entered but resolution box empty

Question

If your using the crop tool in "WxHxResolution" mode, if width and height values are populated but the resolution box is empty, the generative fill dialogue doesnt appear. I know its not the proper way to use the crop tool as such but it did just confuse me for 10 mins or so as to why it wasnt generating the areas to be filled.

Hey, @Gixxxa75. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll help you figure this out.

This is likely a non-issue, but I would like to understand more about what you see. Please share a set of screenshots with specific detailed steps you take. Is the contextual menu bar missing? Does this happen after you reset the Crop tool once?
