Generative Upscale in Photoshop web is not working, it will say something went wrong, not upscale and also has another what looks like an error code "0" This started happening yesterday afternoon and is continuing to occur this morning.

On another note, after reading through some of these Firefly forums this morning, and after receiving a $10 a month increase in my monthly subscription price… Adobe needs to seriously making all their Firefly offerings free until they actually work out all of the bugs in this system. You can’t just be taking money from people and giving them absolute garbage over and over again.

Hey All! Thanks for your patience. I’ve gone through each of your accounts and there are layers to this.

For@Erin32160754kowv, @Meghan37601277zh0w & @paulm74699616 - You have more than 1 profile in your Adobe ID and one of them has a Teams/Enteriprise subscription. Head here to learn more about managing your profiles.

    1. Make sure you’re signed into Photoshop Web, or Creative Cloud with the right Profile.
    2. Check with the Teams/Enterprise subscription Admin to understand if you have the required permissions to access partner models & premium features: https://adobe.ly/3WEFitJ

    3. If an IT team manages the device, ensure all the Adobe Network endpoints are whitelisted: https://adobe.ly/3STmkga

    4. Try using a different browser and close any apps, or extra browser tabs.

For, @realistic_Flair6C15, @Alan Cameron Photography & @QuirkM - Currently, you don't have the necessary subscriptions to use either Photoshop or just the premium generative features. Head here to learn more about this: Generative credits FAQ

Now, just to confirm, @Federico_Romero, @S2Maw & @tomil18926661 - Do you see this failure often and is it repeatable? Awaiting hearing from you.

    I hope this helps.

    Best,

    Hello Sameer.

Thank you for your response. I am running into this issue using Generative Upscale in Firefly. I have checked and Firefly is included in my plan. I am a paid subscriber and I am paying £21 a month for Photoshop and £21 a month for Illustrator. I also have 945 credits left out of a monthly 1000. So I have plenty of credits. (Firefly is supposed to be free anyway).

Sorry Sameer, but the issue is that Generative Upscale using Firefly is not working properly. When I try and upscale anything,  8 times out of ten, it pops that error message up on my screen. Before the recent Adobe update, it was working perfectly and I had no issues.

So I am having to pay another online third party upscale service for something that I am already paying for though Adobe isn’t working properly.

@Sameer K thank you for your response, but I have to agree with @realistic_Flair6C15 in saying that the true answer is that Adobe Firefly is not a reliable product.

@Sameer K Are you seeing all of these people having the same issues nearly 2 weeks later? It’s happening again today. @Sameer K is Adobe going to do anything for all the PAYING SUBSCRIBERS that just continue to run into issue after issue with Firefly????

Erin, not sure if this will help you. I have an error too, but it’s orange.

I was trying to upscale from Image Size / Open in Generative Upscale. Nothing seemed to work, and  instead of 2x I changed it to 4x, and it started to upscale in both 4x and 2x…

I guess it’s another usual Ado-bug — they like users to suffer as part of becoming stronger designers, photographers, or creators...

Hope this works on your end too!

I’m getting exactly the same. This is an issue that has been going on for a few weeks. Sometimes it works properly, but more often than not now it doesn’t. I have to use a third party upscaler in order to do what I need.

All the more annoying because I am paying Adobe a £45 per month subscription, so I expect what I am paying for to work properly!

Hey, @Erin32160754kowv. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I just wanted to let you know I'll move this to discussions for now. Please share the browser details and specify the method of upscale you’ve used.

Are you using Firefly or one of the partner models? Does this happen with the specific image or a series of images?

    Awaiting hearing from you. Thanks!

Instead of an automated response that solves zero issues, I would appreciate Adobe being honest about Firefly’s many flaws and considering adding some sort of “status” indicator to let users know when Firefly is overwhelmed and unable to generate usable content for many users. It seems that there is no way Adobe wouldn’t be aware of when this is happening and it would save many the time and trouble of coming on to these forums to try and get some answers as to why they are not going to meet their deadline, or how they have used up thousands of generative credits with nothing to show for it.

@Sameer K I AGREE with Erin above!!  This is clearly an issue that folks are having - myself included!  This needs to resolved ASAP and credits need to be issued to customers.  This is far too expensive of a service for a critical feature to not be operating for over 24 hours.
