Dear Adobe Photoshop Product Team,

I am writing to provide feedback on the current feature set of the new Photoshop mobile application (for iOS/Android), particularly in comparison to the functionality previously available in the retired Photoshop Touch (PS Touch) app.

While I appreciate the improvements in the new app, several core features from PS Touch are either missing or, critically, restricted to paid users. I urge you to reintroduce the following features and make them free of charge, as they constitute basic and fundamental photo editing and graphic design functionality on mobile devices:

Filters and Adjustments: The full range of creative Filters (e.g., artistic effects) and advanced Adjustment toolsthat were previously included in PS Touch.

Layer Selection and Manipulation: Intuitive and precise Layer Selection tools that made manipulating individual elements and complex compositions easy on a touch interface.

Gaussian Blur: The widely used Gaussian Blur effect, which is an essential tool for soft focus, depth, and creative blending.

Text Effects: Comprehensive Text Styling features, including effects like Text Glow, shadow, and bevel, which are necessary for creating rich mobile graphics.

Color Blended Text Editing: The ability to edit text with different color blends and gradients applied, which was a highlight of the older app.

Layer Blending Features: The full range of Layers Blending Modes (e.g., Multiply, Screen, Overlay). I note that accessing blend modes is currently restricted behind the premium tier in the new app.

My Core Request:

These capabilities are now industry-standard for any serious mobile editing application and are essential for basic creativity. Locking features like Gaussian Blur or all Layer Blending Modes behind a subscription significantly limits the app's utility for casual or entry-level creators.

By making these basic features free, you will ensure a smoother transition for former PS Touch users and make the new Photoshop app a more competitive and accessible tool for everyone.

Thank you for considering this request. I look forward to seeing these powerful, yet basic, creative tools made available to all users.

Sincerely,

Vijay Kumar (INDIA)

@vijay_0748 I think that's the whole purpose... if you love some of the old features which is only available on the paid version, that's the way Adobe can make money so that they can continue paying staff to create new features... if it's free all th time, would you ever pay for the full version?
