Gradient Box in Gradient Overlay section of Blending Options Missing in 26.9v

Trying to learn how to create a gradient in my text and all of the instructional videos show a gradient box in the Gradient Overlay section in Blending Options and I don't have that. I have version 26.9 photoshop. Can anyone help?

Could you share a screenshot of your Photoshop screen and let us know what you want to do exactly? It’s possible the videos you’re watching were made using an older version of the app, so things might look a bit different in the current version.
