Gridlines are printing!

Adobe Photoshop version 27.0.0 on a MAC using OS 14.7.6.

The gridlines are useful while designing. But for some reason they are now also printing. They have been turned off under "View". But still print.

How does a person get rid of them for printing?

Hi Diane. It shouldn't be possible to print gridlines unless they have somehow been created as rasta content on a layer. If you have turned the gridlines off (Cmd ') and they are still visible, then they are not gridlines.

If you can still see them on the screen, then turn off one layer at a time, (assuming you have multiple layers) until they disappear.

If you are not seeing the gridlines on your screen, and they still print, then that's a mystery.

But do they remain on the screen when you turn off the grid lines? I gave you the short cut (Cmd ') but the menu will be clearer: You should be able to toggle them on and off with Cmd h

If Grid has no 'tick' next to it and they are still there, then they are not grid lines.

Did you do the other tests I asked you to do?

If the grid does not go away when Grid is turned off, then turn off each layer one at a time. Or turn off ALL of the layers. (select all layers and use Cmd ,) If every layer is turned off and you still see the grid, then yes they are grid lines. My best guess is that they are not.
