Guides are Transparent when Moving

Question

I need to be able to see my guides when moving them into position, Yes, I've got my preferences set properly—I've been using PhotoShop since version 1.0 in 1990, so I'm somewhat familiar with the terrain. I can see them when on a darker background because they're a white, closely-dotted line, but on a white backgound, they're entirely invisible, and its a huge worklflow disruption. Is there a new setting somewhere I'm not seeing, or another workaround?

@Cayce the guides are showing fine for me on a white background when moving them, with Photoshop version 27.2

Try manually resetting your Photoshop preferences
