Guides turn blue

Question

Hi, in PS 2024, guides will turn blue, even though I have the color set to green. I understand this is to highlight the active guide, but I do not need or like this. How can I disable this? Or at least adjust the color? In PS 2021 it doesn't do this.

Hi, I'm sorry but the behavior you see is as designed and there is no way to change it at this time. You could repost this as an Idea so other people could vote for it.^RCS

Thanks for the reply Rick. This is an example of Adobe "fixing" something that isn't broken, and in the process ruining the user experience. Who on earth likes this and asked for it? 1. It should be able to be disabled. 2 The color of the guide should be user controlled. This is among the reasons I've remained on 2021 for as long as possible. AI doesn't mean anything when other "improvements" ruin the experience.
