Have you stopped developing content aware fill?

It's been out a few years now and it hasn't even slightly improved. If anything it's gotten worse. Let me remind you that this is a subscription app, you charge credits for ai tools on top of that, and yet the tools is worse than some random thing is find by googling "object removal" and trying the first option. You have to do better.

Given the tools in there now like Generative Fill, there isn’t much reason to use Content-Aware Fill and I’m a little surprised it’s still in the application.

Content-Aware Fill was great in its day, but now the steps and advanced thinking needed to use it properly are so complicated and unreliable compared to Generative Fill.

    You have to do better.

They already did, and it’s called Generative Fill.

The problem with generative fill is that there are industries, including some book publishing, where generative AI is banned due to the copyright and ownership issues it presents. So there is still a place for the non-generative AI tools. Removing them from the application would make the application irrelevant in those workflows.

What are you trying to do? There are so many tools that are much better than content aware today, including the remove tool, remove in the Contextual Task Bar, etc. If you post a screenshot and description of what you are trying to accomplish, I can tell you how to do it. Content Aware fill is about 11 yrs old and newer tech is better - and not all cost credits.

@real_5081 May I also ask that you share your system info? That can be found by going to Help > System. Copy any past that into a text file and attach to your response. :)
