Help with Error 176

Hello, im having an issue. I have an Acer Nitro 5 laptop. It started acting up so i had to delete everything. But, before deleting everything I had all of my apps downloaded to a different external drive. I have been trying to redownload photoshop and substance painter all day but, it keeps saying error 176. Also I've tried changing the location but, norhing is working. It won't allow me to change the Asset download location at all now. Can someone please help me. Thank you
