Help with photoshop actions saving, and sequencing correctly when using Batch

Question

Hey guys, Ill keep this short as i took a nice video and screen record to show you guys whats happening.

Please when answering, dumb it down for me haha. What ive done in the video is teach myself and im 6 hours in and completely lost. Im trying not to have to manually save these designs, as it will take me years.

2 issues -

When not using batch and using the F1-F3 keys, I can get the files to save but they overwrite eachother (despite there not being a specific file save name as Ive seen in the discussions)

When using Batch, it isnt sequencing correctly and ends up saving the existing .psb files as the intended .jpeg files and the resolutions are screwing up and Im having to go back and redo resolution and reassign smart object files (pain in the a**)

I dont mind doing it either way, obviously Batch would be awesome, but if unable I dont mind choosing files manually, Just would like them to autosave (which is working, but overwriting)

I can't see the Batch commands. If the action works correctly when run manually, but not when running in batch, that would appear to indicate that the issue is with the Batch command.

You need to check the box for "override action save as commands" to stop batch overwriting recorded save as step:

Otherwise, take a look at image-processing scripts that can save a file and run an action (you would need to remove the JPEG save steps from the action):
