hi. neural filters haven't been working for several days. at photoshop v26.11.6. also at v27.9.1 filters never work

“Several days” implies that the filter used to work. Can you recall any change to your system -- like Adobe app upgrades or Os update -- that occurred in that timeframe?

I’ve placed a few trouble tickets on this problem, over several versions of Ps updates. The Adjustments sliders have never worked for me.

A few longtime denizens suggest that Adobe has abandoned development and support of neural filters, without quoting official company announcements that such is the case. The problem has gone on so long, and development of Ai (substitutes?) seems to support that statement.

One can trigger the message that reads, “We've temporarily disabled this filter because of an error” by using any of the four Adjustments sliders: Noise reduction, Color noise reduction, Halftone artifacts reduction, and JPEG artifacts reduction. These sliders used to show a progress bar that eventually stops when the error displays; the progress bar no longer displays when I run it.

Stick with the two sliders Photo enhancement and Scratch reduction until Adobe announces a patch or actually removed the filter from the set. Photo Restoration is in Beta...
