Hi there, I am having a real problems with photoshop. It is about saving raw files to Jpegs. I takes soooo long . If the raw files are untouched, no any process, it is very fast to save jpegs from Raw files. But if you work on your raw files, for example you have 2 masks and some fine tune adjustments on raw file, when you try to save this file to Jpeg, saving time increaes5-6 times longer. 5 photoshop agent tried to help me online but thec coulndt fix anything. My computer is AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D 16-Core Processor 4.20 GHz - 64 GB ram and 4070 super ti GPU. do you guys have any ideas about that problem ?

    Can you clarify your steps?

Are you using Adobe Camera Raw to make the edits or Photoshop? Or maybe the ACR filter in PS?

Are you saving to JPEG from ACR or PS?

1: open multiple files on raw plugin in photoshop
2: making my adjustments and layers (at the past I was working min 50 files but today I cant work more than 15..)
3:saving my files as Jpegs at highest quality
I have been working like this way more than 10 years, but last months PS getting so slow, I dont understand the reason.
I bought very powerful pc and now I am very disappointed 😞

Still not clear: are you saving jpegs from ACR or Photoshop?

The jpeg format does not support 16 bit depth, layers of any kind, transparency or alpha channels. If your files have any of these  properties, you need to use Save A Copy, not Save As. ACR will always save a copy.

How much spare hard disk capacity do you have?

Have you used "Save a Copy"?

Have you tried resetting the Photoshop preferences back to the factory defaults?

more than 150 GB , samsung 990 pro 2 tb ssd
in raw plugin  there is no "save a copy"
yes, me and agent tried many things but still very slow
as an example : 32 raw files (canon r5, 45mp each) , if I dont make any corrections, it is saving like 20 seconds.  But if I add 2 masks and some fine tunes, saving times goes to around 2.5 minutes...very big difference

After you've optomised your RAW file in the Camera Raw Filter you can select OK and within Photoshop use Save a Copy to save as a JPG.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
