Issue

  • Photoshop version: 26.11
  • OS: MacOS Tahoe 26.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a document
  2. Make any selection
  3. Then Image\Adjustment\BrightnessContrast
  4. Uncheck the box in View\Extras by pressing Command+H

Expected result hide the selection
Actual result: the selection is still visible

Additional, if you do the same with other adjustment layers, it works correctly and hides the selection. The problem appeared only with Brightness\Contrast 2-3 versions before. It worked well on 26.5
View properties are unavailable with Brightness/Contrast, while being available with other Image\Adjustment\

You can solve the issue by going to Photoshop 2025>Settings>Technology Previews, unchecking Enable Modern User Interface, then restarting Photoshop.
