How can I get the same effect on an image that's used in the attached photo?

    Thanks for the reply Rob, I was trying to duplicate the effect. A client sent me the image because the person who created the original was no longer available. I’m pretty sure it was redrawn by an illustrator and then opened and saved in Photoshop. Because of the fills used in the buildings, there doesn’t seem to be anything in Photoshop that will do that. I played with the filters and they accepted what I gave them.

    Offhand… Obviously a black and white conversion of some description.

     

    Some sort of filtering of the general tonal range, perhaps Photocopy filter?

     

    Overlayed on top of all of this is a “Find Edges” filter or “Glowing Edges” filter or some other edge finding operator.

    Thanks for the ideas, none of those fade out the color to white and makes it look as pixelated. I’ve adjusted the Levels to get more white and then changed the Mode to Bitmap. Appreciate the help.
