How can I remove, turn off, or at least hide Firefly?

I don’t want Firefly, will not be using it (explicitly), and wish it was not involuntarily installed.

Even if I can’t control what Adobe installs on this box, I’d like to hide it completely. PhotoShop and the rest already have incredibly cluttered interfaces full of low-contrast icons and tiny text. Adding even more clutter is not, not, not an improvement.

(I say “explicitly” because presumably some kind of ML is going to be involved in operations like resizing images whether I like it or not, but you could at least make it transparent, not a distraction.)

I don’t remember any specific Firefly terms, but you have to see so many of those ….

For starters you can use Edit > Toolbar and Edit > Menus to hide the AI-dependent Tools and Menu Items and set the Remove Tool to »Generative AI off«.
