Im trying to edit some of my pictures and the dress ended up being too short to where it exposes a small portion of me under,. I wanted to maybe copy a piece of the dress and add it onto the photo to lengthen the dress in a way but im not sure how to.

Does this new question involve the leather dress tummy tuck to which I previously responded?

This is tougher due to her hand and purse in the way.

I'd try selecting her hand and purse, promote to a new layer, then select a rectangular portion of the dress;

this selection could then be stretched and distorted to lengthen the dress.

You can do this directly in Photoshop using a few simple tools. One common method is to select and copy part of the dress and blend it in naturally.

Try this:
• Use the Lasso Tool or Quick Selection Tool to select a clean area of the dress fabric.
• Press Cmd/Ctrl + J to copy the selection onto a new layer.
• Move it down to extend the dress, then use Edit → Transform → Warp or Free Transform to match the shape.
• Finish by softening the edges with a layer mask and a low-opacity brush so it blends smoothly.

If the fabric is simple, the Clone Stamp or Content-Aware Fill can also work well for small extensions. Take it slow and zoom in for cleaner blending.
