How do I fix this visual problem in PS? Artifacting?

I am running Windows, my computer is running all top parts, a lot of RAM, including a 3080ti.

I've uninstalled, reinstalled, updated drivers, updated windows.

What is causing this artifacting? It's making it impossible to draw and it's driving me insane.

Okay, I just turned off Multithreaded compositing and it seems like it's working!!

Thank you. Happy to have helped. You may still want to pursue this just in case the settings you changed manifest in other ways. Best of luck.

Yes, they are all updated. So far this has been working perfect. Thank you so much for your help!!

Fantastic. You may at least have a partial "solution". Hopefully some more tech savy people will have some alternate suggestions. Have you also updated all your graphics drivers?

Rotating the canvas is a pretty big part of my workflow otherwise this probably would've worked haha

That does seem to get rid of the artifacting! But it doesn't allow me to rotate the canvas without this error. And it makes zooming in and out of the image not smooth.

I am using an artboard, maybe that has something to do with it?

Just as a test, does turning off "Use Graphics Processor" and restarting Photoshop correct the issue?

Are you familiar with the Performance section within the Photoshop Preferences?
