How do I increase the canvas size and the smart object size of an animated iPhone mockup?

Hello. I downloaded this animated mockup PSD of an Apple tablet and iPhone shown here. Both the tablet and the iPhone are animated so that they both rotate towards each other and then back to facing front again.  The PSD canvas size is 1600h x 1200v and I need to increase the canzas size to 1920h x 1080v AND scale up the tablet and iPhone so that they are both larger. They are both smart objects and I don't really have any experience using smart objects in Photoshop. The problem is, when I increase the canvas size, my custom webpage that I created and pasted on both the tablet and the iPhone screen is off kilter and appears halfway off of each device's screen! ALSO, if I scale each device to 150%, my custom webpage on each device's screen is also off kilter! Can someone please tell me how to increase the canvas size AND how to increase the size of the tablet and iPhone AND how to have my custom webpage that displays on the screen of each device also be the correct size so that the animation looks correct when each device rotates?

I actually prefer the Crop tool to set Canvas size. If you want toadd canvas manually, hit Crop and simply drag a corner handle. Hold down Alt and drag to expand from the center.

What would make the crop tool especially useful in your case is that it has presets for the aspect ratio, so you could set it to 16:9 or you could use the W(width) x H(Height) x Resolution option. That gives you a window like below.

Unfortunately, there is an issue with the forum software that means we (I) am unable to view your images. If you embed the images using the 'Insert Image' tool at the top of the post window, then we can see them. This issue is supposed to be fixed with the roll out of new forum software this month (January 2026)
