Hi everyone, I’m looking for tips on creating more creative and visually appealing text in Photoshop. What techniques or tools do you usually use for stylish fonts, effects, or unique typography? Any suggestions or resources would be really helpful!

Really appreciate all the ideas people shared here over the past weeks 🙌

I ended up experimenting a lot more with custom typography/styles after this thread. I also collected some interesting font + stylish text inspiration.<a href="https://letrasbonitasbr.com/">         ✨a>

There are books out there, I see them regularly at thrift stores, about Photoshop Type Effects. Maybe find one of those?

I recently stumbled on ‘psd text effects’.  These are small .psd files that you can either simply change the text to what you need, or in some cases, make them layer styles.  A lot of them have texture layers, so can’t be saved as layer styles.

    Search for ‘PSD text effect’

Download the ones that take your fancy, and either use as-is, or reverse engineer to see how they work so you can modify and adapt.

Warning: Once you start on these, it can become addictive, and you end up spending way too much time searching for and downloading them.  DAMHIKIJKOK

Incidentally, these effects are not restricted to Type layers.  They will work with Shape layers, and even raster content if has a transparent background.
