How do you keep large Photoshop projects organized without slowing down your workflow?
Hi everyone,
I've been working on larger Photoshop projects recently, and I've noticed that once a file grows to dozens, or even hundreds, of layers, keeping everything organized becomes almost as challenging as the editing itself.
Everyone seems to have a different workflow, so I'm curious how experienced Photoshop users handle it.
Do you rely on:
- Layer groups and color labels?
- Smart Objects?
- Naming every layer?
- Layer Comps?
- Libraries?
- Keyboard shortcuts for navigation?
Or is there another habit that's made a noticeable difference in your workflow?
I'm interested in approaches that make projects easier to revisit weeks or even months later, especially when collaborating with others or making revisions.
I'd love to hear what works best for you and whether there's a tip you wish you'd adopted much earlier.
Thanks in advance!
