We have a studet in our school. She createdAdobe cloud data. After the left the school, here Adobe account was deactivated. I saw here account but not as an active one. I shared here data with my Adobe account and was able to download a .zip file. This file contains a couple of .psdc file, but these files can’t be used in Photoshop for example. We want to help the studet to either:

  • Convert the Adopbe Cloud files (.psdc) or
  • Activate here Adobe student account, that she is able to work with the cloud data by here own.

Have you tried opening the psdc files in Photoshop?

@Christoph Buecvhe Try this...This is what I would do first. Create a New document that is roughly the size of that, you may be aware of. Go to File - Place Embedded... Select the file that you can't open.psdc. If it places, you can either double-click the thumbnail to Edit the Contents. Or right-click the new layer and select Edit Contents to access the original layers.

If that doesn't work, I be very surprised if it didn't; you could save the file to your computer. Turn on file extensions are visible in your file explorer (Finder or Windows Explorer). Right-click the file and change the extension from .psdc to .psd. And try opening in Photoshop again and accept the warning dialog if it pops up
