How to add imported image in place of image portion i've selected to be deleted

So, I have a mock photo of a girl holding a random skincare product. I wanted to input my actual product instead by using the import feature, but I was wondering if anyone knows how to properly blend in an imported product image in place of a selected portion.

What you are looking to do is called "compositing." It's really the bread and butter of Photoshop and there are dozens of ways you can go about it.
