How to avoid Rasterizing a 3d model file when opening
Hi everyone,
Usually I am good at figuring stuff out on my own but this is an issue which I have had no luck with after searching the forums.
I am trying to open a 3d .psd file which will allow me to edit a 3d mockup of a tshirt so I can do front and back designs, and then be able to spin the tshirt around to look at it from different angles.
There is a youtube video on this file here, and this is also the guy I downloaded it from:
Free 3D tshirt Mockup - Photoshop by Sullyman - YouTube
The issue is that when I try to open it in photoshop, it forces me to rasterize the image which then means that the 3d model layer is no longer able to spin, or even show other tshirt positions besides the initial one.
I am not sure if this issue is because the file is quite old and I have the newest version of photoshop, or perhaps because I am using a mac and uses a PC, or if there might be some other reason. In any event it is very frustrating to be forced to rasterize this file when I just want to use it exactly as it has been created.
I am really hoping someone can help me with this, thanks and sorry for the long post.
