    I created about 65+ podcasts files from late 2025 to 2026 through today. These files are for the POD market. On Monday evening I shut down the computer. Tuesday AM I started the computer along with the latest version of photoshop and bridge on a win 11 system.  I photoshop I expected to see all the pod pod files. They were gone. I then searched bridge for these files.  No results.  All of these files were in a directory called WIP_PSD. That directory is now also gone. None of this makes sense. All files were there Monday but gone Tuesday morning.  I have spent hours doing dozens of searches in bridge. No results. Since all of these files were created in 2025 and 2026 to July. I assumed that finding them would be easy. My question is what search criteria would you use since all of my searches have failed? Thanks. Michael.

    @lvartist

    Adobe doesn’t create a folder called WIP_PSD on its own. It’s almost certainly a folder you made on your PC. Because of that, Bridge won’t be able to recover it if Windows has moved or removed it — you’ll need to search for it through Windows Explorer instead.

    By any chance do you save your WIP on your desktop? They’re more at risk than files stored in regular folders on your hard drive. After a restart, Windows can load a temporary profile, reset the Desktop, or sync it differently, and that can make Desktop files disappear even though everything else on your drive stays intact.
